Through the days of summer here at Jamaica Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Jamaica Pond. So much cool stuff close to Jamaica Pond, simply astonishing. Jamaica Pond is a quite wet place generally with a great deal
of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Samuel Sewall Inn is a good place to spend a night or two; if you're here you will meet lots
of people from nearby Boston-Cambridge-Quincy.
If time allows, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a national park worth a visit; a delightful spot to camp here at Jamaica Pond is Camp Cedar. Having a magnificent
time at Jamaica Pond is uncomplicated. Stony Brook is near Jamaica Pond and is always a diversion to have a look at, and if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a nice vista of Aspinwall Hill from Jamaica Pond.
