A wonderful place       for whitewater paddling near Icehouse Pond is Clear and Branch; Sandy Island is rather close. All the water falling down from the sky makes Icehouse Pond a wet site; November is when you get the most rain here while February is commonly the driest month. Icehouse Pond is not far at all from Worcester. This lake is so wonderful. Near Icehouse Pond you come across a golf course called St Mark's Golf Course; the Ross Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by.                  Just can't get enough of Icehouse Pond. Icehouse Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Mass Health & Fitness is a glorious local campground, obviously you could also explore Hayes Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Through the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Icehouse Pond. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
