There's so much to do here at Huntington Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Laurel Ridge Camping Area is a splendid spot for that. Get soaked paddling on Westfield River - West Branch, and hey, Gotta ski right? Blandford is a good site to do that. There is a good hiking trail right next door to Huntington Reservoir called the Spring Trail, and get yourself       into a kayak and hit Westfield River - North Branch. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly abundant here at Huntington Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Richard Trail is always a good adventure, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not go to Cochran Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are fine sites to look at along the Link Trail, and you'll locate a scenic lake called Black Brook Reservoir. Cold Brook is a lovely stream that is worth checking out;                  you can spot Great Moose Hill from Huntington Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Huntington Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Beartown State Forest is a nice local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Elm Motel. Very pretty scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Otis Ridge. At Huntington Reservoir throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's; the overnight is slightly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Huntington Reservoir nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
