This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Westfield River - West Branch, and great hiking is available along the Spring Trail. Elm Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest; there's great hiking along the Richard Trail. Get covered with water paddling on Westfield River - North Branch. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Huntington Reservoir has to offer, you can camp       at Beartown State Forest. Great Moose Hill is clearly visible from Huntington Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WESTFIELD is a nice spot to spend a night or two. During the months of summer here at Huntington Reservoir, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime                  at Huntington Reservoir temperatures descend to the 10's. Huntington Reservoir is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Laurel Ridge Camping Area is a fine site to camp nearby, and a quick journey to Cold Brook is undeniably a fine idea. This lake is so wonderful. Otis Ridge is a magnificent local ski area. Huntington Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; January is the month with the least moisture. This place, Huntington Reservoir, it definitely has so much outdoors cool stuff.
