Hoxie Pond gets a lot of water; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is July. Nothing beats kicking back at East Sandwich Beach, and a journey to Cape Cod National Seashore is recommended. This is a good region for folks who like lakes. Nye Pond is a lake close at hand, and Peters Pond Park is a wonderful local campground. There's just no way somebody       can get bored here at Hoxie Pond. Enjoy a round of golf at Sandwich Hollows Golf Club not far from Hoxie Pond. Lakes are nice; Lawrence Pond is a lake that's near Hoxie Pond. If you're looking for a beach near Hoxie Pond, we recommend Springhill Beach; a quick visit to Long Creek is without doubt a pleasant idea. You are close to Plowed Neck if you're here at Hoxie Pond, and an interesting thing to pop by in close proximity to Hoxie Pond is Scorton Harbor.                  This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Barnstable Town here at Hoxie Pond; if you like swamps you're in luck, Scorton Creek Marshes is right close by. After a long day outdoors Belfry Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two. During the summertime months here at Hoxie Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Hoxie Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
