Austin Hill is stunning and can be made out from Hoveys Pond; Concord River is a fine whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a good local destination here at Hoveys Pond, and a delightful close by hotel is Best Western Merrimack Valley. The skiing       at Blue Hills is good, and Hoveys Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Country Shore Camping Area is a good spot to camp nearby. An average amount of rainfall falls at Hoveys Pond; November is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Hoveys Pond through the summer months are in the 80's; the nighttime is a tad colder of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come                  with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hoveys Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Bradford is just what you need, and if you've had enough of Hoveys Pond, Chadwick Pond is nearby. While you're here at Hoveys Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, and North Andover Country Club is a golf course close by. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area in the neighborhood of Hoveys Pond has to offer.
