    If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Houghtons Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Houghtons Pond a wet spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Boston-Randolph,Ma is a great choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Hillside  
   Pond. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do close to Houghtons Pond. Paddling on Charles River is so much fun; a perfect site to camp here at Houghtons Pond is Camp Micah.
Houghtons Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Cedar is a great local campground, and a day at delightful Wollaston Beach close to Houghtons Pond is a wonderful thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy come to Houghtons
 
               Pond; there's some flowing water close by, Balster Brook is a stream you can explore during your stay. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Houghtons Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Houghtons Pond throughout the winter commonly dip into the 10's.
Very wonderful scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Blue Hills; Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a tremendous site close by. From Houghtons Pond you acquire a wonderful panorama of Boyce Hill, and Breakneck Ledge is a glorious place to pop by while in the area. A wonderful close by hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Stoughton.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. A good location to stop at close to Houghtons Pond is Wildcat Notch, and Ponkapoag Golf Course is a golf course close by. Do stop by Pine Tree Brook Reservoir Dam if you're here at Houghtons Pond. Lakes are splendid; Ponkapoag Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Houghtons Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bradford if you're here, and time spent at Tenean Beach is always great.
