Houghtons Pond is a nice lake to visit. At Houghtons Pond you can see Boyce Hill, and you can spend the day on the beach at Wollaston Beach. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Ponkapoag Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time, and you'll in all probability meet some folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here. great whitewater of Charles River. Houghtons Pond is a quite wet place usually with a good deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June.
For the period of the long summer days at Houghtons Pond highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Houghtons Pond.
