You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Houghton Pond. Swamps are exciting places and Dapping Brook Swamp near Houghton Pond is no exception, and playing golf is lots of fun at Pinecrest Golf Club. Houghton Pond gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Hollow Camping is a tremendous place to camp; a fine place for whitewater paddling is Charles River. Summertime at Houghton Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
