The high level of rain makes Houghton Pond a rather wet location; the month with most of the rain is November, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Do explore Linden Pond next to Houghton Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and the snow is glorious at Blue Hills. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Framingham. You'll need more than a day       to discover everything Houghton Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pine Hollow Camping. High temperatures at Houghton Pond all through the summertime are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Houghton Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Houghton Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Circle CG Farm Campground is                  a tremendous place to camp nearby, and while you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Pinecrest Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Framingham is a good spot to spend a night or two, and if you're looking for a fine spree, Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is reasonably near. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Houghton Pond. Bald Hill can be observed from Houghton Pond, and Factory Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Houghton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Assabet River offers some tremendous whitewater, and Jar Brook is close to Houghton Pond and is always a joy to take a look at.
