Glide down the rapids of Fall River in a kayak; Super 8 Lee/Berkshires/Outlet Area is a good location to get some rest. Not far from Horseshoe Pond, you'll find Ward Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and Otis Ridge is a very popular ski area nearby. Horseshoe Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain View Campground is a great local campground, and obviously Cone Brook flows through this vicinity. | | slopes of close by Blandford; after a long day outdoors Pilgrim Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Farmington River - West Branch, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Pittsfield. A lot of precipitation falls at Horseshoe Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Richard | |

Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Horseshoe Pond, and Hayden Pond Dam is a place that is in the neighborhood of Horseshoe Pond. This place is so good, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of
Horseshoe Pond. Some nice nature is available in Great Barrington State Forest; on a great day you can take a hike along the Wild Cat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Horseshoe Pond you find the County Road Trail which is a
delightful hiking trail; camping at Camp Overflow is always a fine experience. Any time is a magnificent time at Horseshoe Pond if you fancy the outdoors. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Mud
Pond. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Horseshoe Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Horseshoe Pond drop into the 10's.
