What a nice lake Horn Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Otis Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist, and you're sure to stumble upon some wonderful people from Pittsfield here. Don't leave Horn Pond without first going for a hike along the County Road Trail, and do visit Indian Lake Dam since you're here. Paddling on Walker Brook is so much fun, and a lake nearby is Excalibur Lake. You clearly ought to go for Horn Pond. What would winter

enough? Just getting warmed up. Going for a hike on the Spring Trail is always a great adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Bonny Rigg Camping Club is a perfect place to camp. Horn Pond frequently gets lots of rain; throughout
August this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Walker Island Camping is a good local campground; from Horn Pond you obtain a tremendous sight of Mount Gobble. Becket State
Forest is a fine forest area in close proximity to Horn Pond, and there are great spots to discover along the Richard Trail.
