Hood Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The high level of precipitation makes Hood Pond a relatively wet spot; the month with most of the rain is November; August meanwhile is the driest month. After a long day outdoors WHITTIER MOTEL is a good spot to spend a night or two, and Hood Pond Dam is beautiful. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Hood Pond. The sight of Bartholomew Hill from Hood Pond is gorgeous, and an afternoon

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Arbor Inn Motel is a tremendous choice; Rusnik Campground is a good campground here. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling close to Hood Pond is Atlantic Ocean; you can stay the night at Pines Camping Area. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area since you're here at Hood Pond.

Bradford and strap some skis to your feet, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Bull Brook Reservoir is just a very short distance away. You'll meet a lot of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here, and swing by Black
Brook it's a delightful site to pop by. For the period of the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Hood Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 30's while Hood Pond night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's.
