There's so much to do here at Hood Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pines Camping Area is a tremendous place for that, and you don’t have to go far from Hood Pond to see the water at Hood Pond Dam. Black Brook is a stream that you may bump into while here, and       get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Atlantic Ocean. This lake is so wonderful. Ipswich River Reservoir is a magnificent lake near Hood Pond, and if you came to camp Rusnik Campground is a fine place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy; a pleasant close by hotel is WHITTIER MOTEL. At Hood Pond you can spot Bartholomew Hill; after a long day outdoors Arbor Inn Motel is a tremendous                  location to spend a night or two. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Hood Pond. Near Hood Pond you stumble on a golf course called Ipswich Country Club. Lakes? Sure, Bull Brook Reservoir is in close proximity. Hood Pond gets a large amount of water; November is the month that gets the most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summertime months at Hood Pond highs are usually in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
