All the water falling down from the sky makes Holland Pond a wet place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Quaboag River is a magnificent whitewater spot right next door to Holland Pond; you'll find a stunning lake called Hamilton Reservoir. The summit of Rattlesnake Mountain can be observed                  from Holland Pond, and if you came to camp Quinebaug Cove Campground is a good site to do that. So many amusing things to do at Holland Pond, so little time. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug River. There's so much to do here at Holland Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Village Green Family Campground is a glorious spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Hemlock Ridge Golf Course, and lakes are such calm sites, why not stop at Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
