    It's always fun to stop by Holden Reservoir Number One. Any time is a great time at Holden Reservoir Number One if you love the outdoors. All our national parks are perfect spots to pop by, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception. You don’t have to go far from Holden Reservoir Number One to make out the water at Holden Reservoir Number One Dam, and the Border Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.  
   After a long day outdoors La Residence is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and Scott Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to.
Asnebumskit Hill is a peak you can spot from Holden Reservoir Number One, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Cook Pond. Holden Reservoir Number One commonly gets a large amount of rainfall; during May this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. It's always splendid to
 
               stop at The Cascade; a day on the slopes of Wachusett Mountain is just what you need.
At Holden Reservoir Number One during the summertime highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Holden Reservoir Number One tend to be in the 0's. Emerald Towers is a wonderful place to get some rest, and great hiking is available along the Munyan Trail. This place is peerless, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do close to Holden Reservoir Number One. Enjoy a round of golf at Green Hill Golf Course not far from Holden Reservoir Number One; if you came to camp Wood Lot Campground is a tremendous site to do that.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Holden Reservoir Number One; Ross Trail is a perfect local trail, and camping at Pout and Trout Family Campground is always a good experience. Holden Reservoir Number One is a place with many visitors from Worcester, and the skiing at Pine Ridge is magnificent.
