     If you're looking for a beach next to Hobbs Pond, we recommend West Beach, and if you're here, do take a visit to Black Cove. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Hobbs Pond get into the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Hobbs Pond all through the winter generally plunge into the 10's. So much enjoyable stuff in close proximity to  
   Hobbs Pond, absolutely phenomenal. Why not take a look at a swamp like Bayberry Swamp since you're here at Hobbs Pond, and popping by Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. A good beach near Hobbs Pond is Singing Beach, and Alewife Brook is close to Hobbs Pond and is always a joy to go to.
Hobbs Pond gets much water; November is the wettest month with most rain while August is frequently the driest
 
               month. Not far from Hobbs Pond you get some delightful water scenery at Round Pond Dam, and Cape Ann Camp Site is a pleasant campground nearby. Having a pleasant time at Hobbs Pond is simple. Golf can be played at Cape Anne Golf Course, and Hobbs Pond is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Henry's Resort Motel is a nice site to camp nearby.
Arbor Inn Motel is a delightful spot to get some rest; Gregory Island is an exciting spot to have a look at while at Hobbs Pond. The view of pretty Chipman Hill near Hobbs Pond is good. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Atlantic Ocean, and you're possibly addicted to lakes, Gravelly Pond is one of those nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Bradford are so inviting nobody can resist; Cohasset Tidal Rip is a great whitewater spot nearby. A great nearby hotel is Wylie Inn & Conference Center at Endicott College; almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Chebacco Lake is just a very short distance away.

Keep the taylor river dam in place. We have had a wonderful time with family and friends fishing over the last 15 years. When the dam is lowered dropping water level 3-4 feet it is nearly impossible to launch our little john boat and for the kids to have enough water to fish in and make our way around the reservoir. We have not been able to fish at Taylor River many times over the past three years due to the water level. Thank you....
