This is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Dunns Pond is a lake in the neighborhood, and Hinckley Pond is not far at all from Barnstable Town. If you haven’t been to Cape Cod National Seashore, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here, and Bass River Trailer Park is a pleasant local campground.
