If you came for an overnight stay Pine Hollow Camping is a great place to camp; playing golf is lots of fun at Royal Crest Country Club. Americas Best Value Inn/Foxboro is a good place to get some rest; Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a brilliant local destination. But wait, there's       more to do in the neighborhood of Highland Lake. At Highland Lake you can catch a glimpse of Indian Hill; there are plenty of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here at Highland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side visit to Nantasket Brook, and after a long day outdoors Renaissance Boston Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. If you come at the right time of year, Charles River offers some magnificent whitewater,                  and a beautiful lake like Bristols Pond is a great spot to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Blue Hills, and Highland Lake Dam is a picturesque location. Summertime at Highland Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Highland Lake plunge into the 10's.
