Float down the rapids of Stony Brook in a kayak, and the scenery at Heywood Reservoir Dam is gorgeous. After a long day outdoors Four Points By Sheraton Leominster is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; of course, this is a delightful vicinity for folks who like lakes, Lynde Basins is a lake nearby. What a spot this is for outdoors people. What would winter be without some skiing at Pine Ridge; camping is available at Pine Campgrounds. For the duration of the summer months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Heywood Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 50's.
