Many people like to go to Hermitage Pond. There's good hiking along the Walkabout Trail, and camping is available at Mass Health & Fitness. Nothing beats kicking back at Point Rok Beach, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not pop by Bell Pond. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Hermitage Pond is a relatively wet place generally with a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls through November, and September meanwhile is the driest month. 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hermitage Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Crowne Plaza Hotel Worcester-Downtown, Ma, and the fine folks of Worcester like
to hang out nearby. A trip to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Assabet River. Green Hill
Pond Dam is a beautiful location in the vicinity of Hermitage Pond, and the panorama of Belmont Hill is picturesque. If you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Green Hill Golf Course Department; getting to Coal Mine Brook from
Hermitage Pond is painless. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Hermitage Pond has it all. Why not camp at Sutton Falls Camping Area while you're here at Hermitage Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Ross Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Very lovely scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Wachusett Mountain; a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Clear and Branch.
