During your stay at Hecla Pond do stop by close by Spring Lake Beach. A quick journey to Cold Spring Brook in the neighborhood of Hecla Pond is a glorious idea, and Hecla Pond is not the only place nearby, Calumet Pond is a nearby lake. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Hecla Pond. Stay the night at Circle CG Farm Campground;       here at Hecla Pond you can catch a glimpse of Goat Hill. All through the months of summer here at Hecla Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Hecla Pond descend into the 10's. If time allows, Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth a visit, and if the weather                  is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Ross Trail. Caprons Pond Dam is beautiful and it's near Hecla Pond, and swamps are exciting places and Cedar Swamp close to Hecla Pond is no exception. Be careful coming to Hecla Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. If you're here at Hecla Pond and you like golf, you can check out Blissful Meadows Golf Club, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Assabet River. This lake is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Pout Pond since you're here at Hecla Pond; it's nearby, and a nice close by hotel is Comfort Inn Milford. Hecla Pond is a wet spot that gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Hecla Pond you can take a hike along the Munyan Trail, and there are plenty of people from Worcester here.
