Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do close to Hathaway Reservoir. There's whitewater on Konkapot Brook for all you adrenaline people; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Ashley Brook. Hathaway Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.       You can run the rapids of Westfield River - West Branch close to Hathaway Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Pittsfield Travelodge. The slopes of Bousquet are so inviting noone can resist, and nearby you find the Brickhouse Mountain Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Cheshire Harbor Trail is always a tremendous adventure; Hathaway Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Bissellville Campground is a splendid                  local campground. There's so much to do here at Hathaway Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Fernwood Forest Campground is a brilliant place for that. Summer at Hathaway Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Hathaway Reservoir. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Catamount; golf can be played at Wahconah Country Club. You could also have a look at Ashley Reservoir if you're here at Hathaway Reservoir; it's nearby, and there are plenty of folks from Pittsfield here. This lake is so wonderful.
