Hathaway Ponds is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Hathaway Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Yarmouth Campgrounds is a delightful place for that, and lots of folks from Barnstable       Town come here. If you came to camp Bass River Trailer Park is a good site to do that; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hyannis Golf Club is nearby. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Hathaway Ponds. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Hyannis, and a lake nearby is Duck Pond. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn CAPE COD - HYANNIS is a nice choice, and a day at stunning Hyannis Port Beach in the vicinity of Hathaway                  Ponds is a glorious thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Hathaway Ponds, you could take a look at Maraspin Creek, and Shallow Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. No need to travel far to explore interesting stuff like Salten Point, and while you're here you must check out Blish Point. Be careful coming to Hathaway Ponds, you might not ever want to go home again. Through the summer months highs here at Hathaway Ponds reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hathaway Ponds are in the 10's.
