If you are in Plymouth county it's always a good idea to stop by Hatch Pond. From a rainfall point of view Hatch Pond is a quite normal location; November is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hatch Pond is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Norwell Campsites is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and the summit of Farm Hills can be made out from Hatch Pond. Liberty Plain is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon; a day on the slopes of Blue Hills is just what you need. For the duration of the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at Hatch Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down
to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hatch Pond temperatures sink to the 20's. So many cool things to do here at Hatch Pond, too fine to be true.
You'll stumble on a lovely lake called Shinglemill Pond near Hatch Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rockland. A gorgeous lake like Accord Pond next to Hatch Pond is a splendid spot to visit, and if you want to hit
the beach, Crescent Beach is close by. On a tremendous day you can have a look at Valley Swamp, a swamp close to Hatch Pond, and Accord Pond Dam is striking.

Looks like it's still a beautiful place to take a vacation....I have been going to Ellis Haven for 50 years. It is definately one of my favorite campgrounds.  | 19 miles away I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |
