Throughout the summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Hastings Pond. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hastings Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Camping at Wagonwheel Campground       is always a great experience, and there's delightful hiking along the White Arrow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Hastings Pond, you could also go to nearby Lily Pond; don't leave Hastings Pond without first going for a hike along the Sunrise Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Keene is a good place to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Marlboro Trail. Hastings Pond regularly gets much rainfall; May is the month that                  gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Hastings Pond has it all. A lake close by is Gales Pond, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Millers River. The top of Barber Hill is easily observed from Hastings Pond; the slopes of Living Memorial Park are so inviting nobody can resist. Do have a look at Gales Pond Dam while you're here at Hastings Pond, and Ashuelot River is a great whitewater spot close by.
