Beaches are brilliant; and Bend-in-the-Road Beach close to Harthaven is no exception, and Hamlin Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. Everybody loves East Chop Flats; if you like swamps you're in luck, Farm Pond Marshes is right nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Pequot Hotel, and Cow Bay is very near and is a fine site to stop by. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Harthaven will keep you coming back many times. If you get

This lake is so wonderful. Near Harthaven you find a golf course called Farm Neck Golf Club; if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Barnstable Town. is a great site to get some rest. All through the days of summer at Harthaven highs are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights
come with lows in the 10's to Harthaven.
Harthaven is a quite wet place ordinarily with a good deal of rainfall; most of the snow falls all through December, and February on the other hand is the driest. A nice beach in close
proximity to Harthaven is Oak Bluffs Town Beach; on a beautiful day you get a great panorama of Telegraph Hill from Harthaven.

It's a cool campground to go to but if you like to stay out late stay away because they come around at like ten and make everyone go bad to their own camp sites and you can't stay at that play ground. And if you don't go back to your campsite when they make their second rounds the rangers chase you on golf carts. Which is pretty fun because you have to out run them. But everything else is pretty chill.... |
