    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Harnett Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Harnett Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lone Oak Camp Sites, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Indian Trail. Harmon Brook is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and the snow is glorious at Bousquet. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. There's so  
   much to do here at Harnett Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Overflow is a fine place for that, and do take some time to check out Sandisfield State Forest since you're here.
The high level of rainfall makes Harnett Pond a pretty wet place; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Going for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; the best way
 
               to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Butternut. Summertime highs at Harnett Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Harnett Pond are in the 10's.
Get covered with water paddling on Farmington River - West Branch, and at Harnett Pond Dam close to Harnett Pond there are some exciting things to see. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Harnett Pond is great!. Whitewater paddling is good on Konkapot Brook, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Elbow Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Morley Swamp Reservoir in close proximity to Harnett Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Blackberry River Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Old Inn On the Green is a tremendous place to get some rest, and there are plenty of folks from Pittsfield here at Harnett Pond.
