Harnett Pond is a relatively wet place mostly with much rain; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Looking for something close to Harnett Pond? Morley Swamp Reservoir is in the vicinity; after a long day outdoors Blackberry River Inn is a magnificent       place to spend a night or two. Very charming scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Bousquet, and do stop at Harmon Brook while you're here at Harnett Pond. There are some fine whitewater spots on Farmington River - West Branch, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn Lee. What would winter be without some skiing at Ski Butternut, and why not camp at Lone Oak Camp Sites since you're here at Harnett Pond. This lake is so wonderful. in the vicinity                  of Harnett Pond you'll hit upon a wooded region called Sandisfield State Forest, of course you could also have a look at Morley Swamp Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Harnett Pond. The Wild Cat Trail is a splendid hiking trail close to Harnett Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Harnett Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Konkapot Brook offers some fine whitewater, and close by you discover the Indian Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Summertime highs at Harnett Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Harnett Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
