Gotta ski! Pine Ridge is a perfect location to do that, and camping is available at Peaceful Pines. You clearly ought to love Hansel Pond. Hansel Pond is not the only location close by, Beaver Pond is a close by lake, and Super 8 Gardner is a great location to get some rest. Very beautiful scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Wachusett Mountain, and       don't forget to take a wonderful little spree to Crow Hill Brook. There's a forest here at Hansel Pond called Otter River State Forest; Templewood Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Ashuelot River - South Branch right next door to Hansel Pond; going for a hike along the White Arrow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. The yearly precipitation here at Hansel Pond is                  about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. There's always Wetmore Pond Dam to stop by next to Hansel Pond; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Harling Trail. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A lake close by is Wetmore Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Red Cross Trail. At Hansel Pond throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hansel Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
