Blandford has great slopes and a friendly staff, and dry warm beds await you at Autumn Inn. At Hanging Mountain Pond during the summer months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hanging Mountain Pond temperatures drop to the 0's. And that's not       all you can do here at Hanging Mountain Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hanging Mountain Pond, you could also pop by picturesque Pine Island Lake, and if you need a place to stay North King Motel is a tremendous choice. Berkshire East is a very popular ski area around here; if you came for an overnight stay Windy Acres Campground is a splendid spot to camp. Hanging Mountain Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month                  of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Pine Grove Golf Club is always a pleasure, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hanging Mountain Pond; Link Trail is a nice local trail. There's magnificent hiking along the Spring Trail; it's a pleasant idea to explore Brewer Brook. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in the neighborhood of Hanging Mountain Pond has to offer. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Richard Trail, and not far from Hanging Mountain Pond you obtain some good water scenery at Pine Island Lake Dam. Hanging Mountain Pond is a location with many visitors from Springfield, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Westfield River - North Branch.
