If you came for an overnight stay Peppermint Park Camping Resort is a delightful location to camp, and The Hotel Northampton is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Swift River, and Highland Lakes Lower Lake Dam is wonderful.

You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Berkshire East since you're here; camping is available at Berkshire Park Camping Area.

the wintertime temperatures at Hammond Pond fall into the 0's. Hammond Pond is a wet site that gets lots of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Lower Highland Reservoir in the neighborhood of Hammond Pond, and going for a hike on the Richard Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
