If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Hallockville Pond. The amount of rainfall that falls at Hallockville Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Hallockville Pond, you can go for a hike along the Dunbar Brook Trail; camping is available at Peppermint Park Camping Resort. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Berkshires, Ma is a nice choice, and why not head up to Blandford and strap some skis to your feet. Berkshire East is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and it's a delightful idea to visit Basin Brook.
