    The beauty of Halfway Pond is reason enough to stop by. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Halfway Pond has to offer, you can camp at Maple Glade Campground, and you can observe Dewey Hill from Halfway Pond. A great deal of rainfall falls at Halfway Pond; June is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Through the summer here at Halfway Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and all through summer nights  
   temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Halfway Pond temperatures drop to the 10's.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Felton Lake, and skiing at Bousquet is one of those things you just ought to do. If you need a place to stay Pilgrim Inn is a fine choice, and Leahy Upper Reservoir Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out.
 
               There's so much to do here at Halfway Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bissellville Campground is a perfect location for that. Lakes? Sure, Farnham Reservoir is nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Konkapot Brook has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and going for a hike along the Turner Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Halfway Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Wild Cat Trail, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Farmington River - West Branch. If the weather is delightful here at Halfway Pond, you can go for a hike along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lee Super 8 Motel.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Halfway Pond you come across a golf course called Greenock Country Club, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Catamount if you're here. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Halfway Pond has to offer. At Halfway Pond you always meet someone from Pittsfield.
