Go to Halfway Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Greenock Country Club is a golf course in the vicinity of Halfway Pond, and there's magnificent hiking along the Turner Trail. There are other spots here than Halfway Pond, for example Farnham Reservoir; you'll probably meet some folks from Pittsfield here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Halfway Pond; Brickhouse Mountain Trail is a wonderful local trail, and after a long day

Skiing at Catamount is one of those things you just must do, and the summit of Dewey Hill can be seen from Halfway Pond. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Bousquet, and get wet paddling on Farmington River - West Branch. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Halfway Pond.

is available along the Wild Cat Trail; a good spot to camp here at Halfway Pond is Fernwood Forest Campground. Throughout the summer at Halfway Pond highs are typically in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures
through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Halfway Pond are in the 10's. If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Lee is a good choice, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Konkapot Brook.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to Leahy Upper Reservoir Dam if you're here, and Halfway Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Maple Glade Campground is a pleasant local campground. Much rainfall falls at Halfway Pond; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is February.
