You'll need more than a day to explore everything Haley Pond has to offer, you can camp at Maple Glade Campground, and there's great hiking along the Wild Cat Trail. Stay the night at Camp Half Moon, and of course, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Benedict Pond is a lake in the vicinity. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Haley Pond. The Indian Trail offers hiking at its best,       and at Haley Pond you can observe Livermore Peak. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Greenock Country Club is close at hand, and there's whitewater on Konkapot Brook for all you adrenaline people. All the water falling down from the sky makes Haley Pond a wet place; most of the rain falls during August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Why not pop by Benedict Pond Dam since you're here, and delightful                  scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Ski Butternut. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Haley Pond. You can run the rapids of Farmington River - West Branch right next door to Haley Pond; if you need a place to stay The Red Lion Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Bousquet is one of those things you just must do, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a great spot to get some rest. Lots of people from Pittsfield come to Haley Pond. Lakes are great; Lake Buel is a lake that's next to Haley Pond. Beartown State Forest is a forest near Haley Pond that you can go to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Haley Pond; Elbow Trail is a tremendous local trail. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Haley Pond reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
