If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Haley Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Haley Pond; Indian Trail is a good local trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Bousquet. A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Haley Pond is Konkapot Brook, and a lake close by is Benedict Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Stevens Pond if you're here at Haley

Haley Pond is a wet place that gets much precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. You definitely should like Haley Pond. Why not camp at Camp Half Moon while you're here at Haley Pond, and there's good hiking along the Elbow Trail. Red Lion Inn. The vista of pretty Livermore Peak near Haley Pond is great, and if you came for an overnight stay Maple Glade Campground is a tremendous location to camp. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Good hiking
is available along the Wild Cat Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - West Branch. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a wonderful
choice; an afternoon playing golf at Greenock Country Club is always a pleasure. At Haley Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the
wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Haley Pond. Beartown State Forest is a good local forest, and hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Butternut is a wonderful site to do that.
