This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Konkapot Brook is so much fun, and there are plenty of people from Pittsfield here at Haley Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things right next door to Haley Pond. Benedict Pond Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and you can hit the slopes at Bousquet close by. Get       soaked paddling on Farmington River - West Branch; if you need a location to stay The Red Lion Inn is a good choice. Benedict Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Lee is a nice location to spend a night or two. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Butternut, and if you came for an overnight stay Maple Glade Campground is                  a delightful site to camp. While you're here at Haley Pond you can take a hike along the Indian Trail; if you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Greenock Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Stevens Pond, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Elbow Trail. Take a hike on the Wild Cat Trail, and Beartown State Forest is a forest that you can go to. Haley Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Haley Pond while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's.
