This lake is so wonderful. You simply have to go for Hales Pond. Hales       Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Circle CG Farm Campground is a good local campground, and Bald Hill is a peak you can see from Hales Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Hales Pond a rather wet spot; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the long summer days at Hales Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's. For the period of the                  moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hales Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Bungay Brook Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is great on Charles River. Camping at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort is always a fine experience, and Clear and Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Blue Hills.
