After a long day outdoors Pilgrim Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail. Not far from Hale Pond, you'll find Sodem Pond which is a scenic lake, and the Turner Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Near Hale Pond you come across Tyringham Valley which is a good place to have a look at, and hey, Gotta ski right? Catamount is a perfect location to do that. All

| | through the warm days of summer here at Hale Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Hale Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Hale Pond rocks! A splendid close by hotel is Super 8 Lee/Berkshires/Outlet Area, and why not camp at Mountain View Campground since you're here at Hale Pond. | |

Camp Brook is a scenic stream that is worth taking a look at; hiking is a popular thing to do around Hale Pond; Wild Cat Trail is a great local trail. Angerman Swamp is a swamp near Hale Pond; enjoy a round of golf at Greenock Country
Club. Hale Pond ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors exciting stuff next to Hale Pond will keep you coming back
again and again. Lakes? Sure, Mud Pond is close at hand, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Farmington River - West Branch. Camp Overflow is a wonderful local campground, and on a pretty day you get a brilliant vista
of Baldy Mountain from Hale Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Konkapot Brook offers some brilliant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Ski Butternut are so inviting nobody can resist, and at Hale Pond you always meet someone from Pittsfield.
