During your visit to Greenwater Pond you'll meet some people from Pittsfield for sure; camping at Mountain View Campground is always a great experience. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do close to Greenwater Pond. A tremendous close by hotel is Super 8 Lee/Berkshires/Outlet Area, and skiing at Bousquet is one of those things you just have to do. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and there's whitewater

| | on Konkapot Brook for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Higley Brook; close by you locate the Wild Cat Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Farmington River - West Branch; a round of golf at nearby Greenock Country Club is a great way to kill some time. down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Greenwater Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff,
what a great planet it would be. Greenwater Pond Dam is a delightful location near Greenwater Pond, and after a long day outdoors Pilgrim Inn is a fine site to spend a night or two. Greenwater Pond is not the only site close by, Basin
Pond is a close by lake; camping is available at Bonny Rigg Camping Club. Going for a hike on the Turner Trail is always a delightful adventure, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Catamount since you're here.
Greenwater Pond is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. At Greenwater Pond you can catch a sight of Becket Mountain; a lake nearby is Upper Goose Pond.
