The beauty of Greenwater Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Wild Cat Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Bissellville Campground is a delightful place to camp. And that's not all you can do here at Greenwater Pond. The Brickhouse Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Basin Pond is a lake around here; why not head up to Catamount and strap

Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Greenwater Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Greenwater Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Konkapot Brook, and Greenwater Pond Dam is a stunning location. You just
can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Greenwater Pond has to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Farmington River - West Branch; camping is available
at Summit Hill Campground. Greenwater Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
A day on the slopes of Bousquet is just what you need; after a long
day outdoors Laurel Hill Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two. The vista of wonderful Becket Mountain near Greenwater Pond is fine, and since you're here and you like golf, you can visit Greenock Country Club.
