Why not camp at Prospect Lake Park since you're here at Great Pond, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Great Pond Upper Reservoir. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bradford is in the vicinity of Great Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hole in Rock is a good place, and the top of Blue Hill Range is easily made out from Great Pond. The annual rainfall here at Great Pond is about average; during November this area sees the

nearby Braintree Municipal Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. On a wonderful day you can go to Broad Meadow, a swamp right next door to Great Pond; popping by Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is just something
you need to do if you haven't yet. If you're looking for a beach close to Great Pond, we recommend Tenean Beach, and getting to Blue Hill River from Great Pond is easy. So many entertaining things in the vicinity of Great Pond,
absolutely extraordinary. Camping is available at Camp Cedar, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Cohasset Tidal Rip.
