Go for a hike on the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail; if you're looking
for a beach close by we recommend Cahoon Hollow Beach. Any time is a pleasant time at Great Pond if you adore the outdoors. There's good hiking along the Buttonbush Trail, and Drummer Cove is not far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
Don't leave Great Pond without first going for a hike along the Great Island Trail, needless to say you could also stop by Spectacle Pond since you're here; it's not far at all.
