Great Pond is always a pleasure to visit. For the period of the days of summer at Great Pond highs are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 30's while Great Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Great Pond is not the only site nearby, Spectacle Pond is a nearby lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Highland Golf is always a delight. So

This lake is so wonderful. Ballston Beach is close to Great Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and at Great Pond you can catch a sight of Smalls Hill. There's so much to do here at Great Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Maurice's Campground is a splendid place for that; the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail is a pleasant hiking trail | |

nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Four Points By Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod, and swamps like Featherbed Swamp are fun to visit.
A lake close by is Gull Pond; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach
at Longnook Beach. Great Pond typically gets a good deal of rain; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July. If you need a site to stay Captains Quarters Motel is a great choice, and going for a hike
on the Small Swamp Trail is always a splendid adventure.
Just can't get enough of Great Pond. A spree to Cape Cod National Seashore is recommended; Great Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Paine's Campground
is a splendid local campground. A good spot in the vicinity of Great Pond is Brush Valley; close by you find the Great Island Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
