A day at wonderful Herring Cove Beach near Great Pond is a brilliant thing to do, and swamps like Long Point Marshes close to Great Pond make for fine sites to visit. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. If you need a place to stay The Bradford House And Motel is a perfect choice,       and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Small Swamp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Great Pond you can take a hike along the Beach Forest Trail, and a journey to Cape Cod National Seashore is worthwhile. The summits of the Dunes of the Provincelands add much beauty to the vicinity around Great Pond, and Dunes of the Provincelands is a peak you can catch a sight of from Great Pond. Do go to Bennett Pond right next                  door to Great Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and dry warm beds await you at Four Gables Cottages and Stes. The high level of precipitation makes Great Pond a relatively wet location; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Coastal Acres Camping Court is a delightful site to camp, and the Great Island Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. Blackwater Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. All through the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 70's at Great Pond. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Great Pond throughout the wintertime generally dip into the 20's.   Four Gables Cottages and Stes, Provincetown A damage deposit of 250.00USD is due and payable upon arrival.
