Any time is a great time at Graves Pond if you go for the outdoors. Good hiking is available along the Mitchell Hill Road; dry warm beds await you at       Super 8 Motel - Leominster/Fitchburg Area. Very brilliant water scenery is available at Bixby Reservoir Dam right next door to Graves Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Graves Pond has to offer, you can camp at Field & Stream Travel Trailer. This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the Wapack Trail; you can stay the night at Field and Stream Travel Trailer Park. This lake is so wonderful. Dead Pond is a nearby lake that                  you could visit, and a round of golf at nearby Townsend Ridge Country Club is a magnificent way to kill some time. The high level of precipitation makes Graves Pond a relatively wet location; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most; September meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the summer months at Graves Pond highs are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Graves Pond are in the 10's. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Graves Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Graves Pond; Old Country Road is a fine local trail, and some great nature is available in Townsend State Forest.
