You don’t have to go far from Grandin Reservoir to catch a sight of the water at Northfield School Upper Reservoir Dam, and a lovely lake like Bent Pond is a brilliant site to explore. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Putnam Pond next to Grandin Reservoir, and camping at Swanzey Lake Camping Area is always       a nice experience. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Grandin Reservoir. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ashuelot River, and after a long day outdoors Snow Lake Lodge is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Hiking along the Sunset Trail is brilliant fun, and of course Louisiana Brook flows through this neighborhood. Grand Summit Hotel is a great location to get some rest, and lots of folks                  from Keene come here. For the period of the long summer days here at Grandin Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Grandin Reservoir drop into the 0's. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Grandin Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of lovely Birch Point near Grandin Reservoir is wonderful, and golf can be played at Northfield Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Sunrise Trail, and picturesque scenery and brilliant skiing is what you obtain at Living Memorial Park.
