Bousquet is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and why not take a little trip to Basin Pond Brook while you're here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Goose Pond; Brickhouse Mountain Trail is a fine local trail, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Lee/Berkshires/Outlet Area is a delightful site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Pittsfield here at Goose Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for

| | everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Konkapot Brook. At Goose Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Goose Pond tend to be in the 10's. Goose Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. | |

Goose Pond really is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Why not camp at Mountain View Campground since you're here at Goose Pond, and Upper Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. Good
hiking is available along the Wild Cat Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Catamount in close proximity. There's tremendous hiking along the Turner Trail, and while you're here, you could also go to pretty Basin Pond. What a
site this is for outdoors folks. Baldy Mountain can be seen from Goose Pond, and if you need a place to stay Pilgrim Inn is a fine choice. Camping is available at Maple Glade Campground, and playing golf is lots of fun at Greenock
Country Club. Goose Pond Dam is not far at all from Goose Pond, and there's whitewater on Farmington River - West Branch for all you thrill seekers.
