You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Wachusett Mountain, and of course Sand Brook flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Leominster/Fitchburg Area, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Souhegan River. Having a magnificent time at Goodfellow Pond is simple. After a long       day outdoors Courtyard Fitchburg is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road. This lake is so wonderful. Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a great local campground, and paddling on Stony Brook is so much fun. All the outdoors entertaining things close to Goodfellow Pond will keep you coming back again and again. You don’t have to go far from Goodfellow Pond to catch a                  sight of the water at Goodfellow Pond Dam, and why not camp at Pine Campgrounds while you're here at Goodfellow Pond. Nearby lakes? Sure, Notown Reservoir is close to Goodfellow Pond; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Wapack Trail. Enjoy a round of golf at Maplewood Golf Course not far from Goodfellow Pond; you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Simonds Pond is one of those nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Goodfellow Pond. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Goodfellow Pond are in the 10's.
