     You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Hills since you're here, and lots of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy come here. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Goldfish Pond is peerless! You are next to Blaney Rock while you're here at Goldfish Pond; a delightful place to camp here at Goldfish Pond is Lorraine Park Campground. What would winter be without some skiing at Bradford, and Cohasset Tidal Rip has a glorious whitewater paddling  
   spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the beach if you want, Kings Beach is practically right here, and Goldfish Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Prospect Lake Park is a great local campground.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Goldfish Pond is not the only spot close by, Floating Bridge Pond is a close by lake, and while you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Meadow Golf Course of
 
               Peabody. A fine vista of pretty High Rock is available from Goldfish Pond; if you need a place to stay Boston Marriott Peabody is a good choice. Goldfish Pond usually gets a great deal of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A tremendous nearby hotel is Salem Inn, and you simply must check out Black Wills Cliff if you're here at Goldfish Pond. Looking for something near Goldfish Pond? Foster Pond is around here, and if you're looking for a nice visit, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is pretty near. This lake is so wonderful.
On a fine day it's a magnificent idea to spend the day at Lynn Beach, and obviously, A trip to Old Sump is always fun. Through the summer at Goldfish Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 30's while Goldfish Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Very great water scenery is available at Spring Pond Dam right next door to Goldfish Pond; swamps can be such out of the ordinary sites, stop by Thompsons Meadow since you're here at Goldfish Pond.

Lake Cochichewick formerly known as Great Pond, is located near the inersections of rt 125 and Great Pond Road in North Andover MA.  The lake is a little over 200 acres and long and narrow but widens quite a bit in the middle.  The average depth near in the midde is about 40ft however the lake can reach depths of up to 60ft.  The lake is a protected reservoir so fishing and boating are by town permit only.  Swimming and gas moters are prohibited. Large and small mouth bass are in decent numbers as well as perch, pickerel, sunfish, also there is Northern Pike around but few have hooked up one in the summer season.  Mercury level are fairly high so it is recomended to limit the consumption of fish to 1 meal a month. Most of the locals you will meet on the lake are all artificial bait, catch and release fisherman....
