The beauty of Glen Echo Lake attracts many people from all around. Go for a hike on the Border Trail, and the scenery at Glen Echo Lake Dam is gorgeous. Don't leave Glen Echo Lake without first going for a hike along the Munyan Trail, and stopping by Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Sibley Pond is a glorious lake right next door to Glen Echo Lake,

| | and Quaboag River is a fine whitewater spot close by. This is a popular spot for folks from Worcester, and perfect hiking is available along the Walkabout Trail. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River; playing golf is lots of fun at Royal Oaks Country Club. is the driest month. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Glen Echo Lake. Hit the slopes at Pine Ridge in the neighborhood, and dry warm beds await you at Passport Inn - Sturbridge. The top of Carpenter Hill is easily
seen from Glen Echo Lake, and let's not forget Pratt Brook which is a stream that you may come across during your stay. Be careful coming to Glen Echo Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Lakes? Sure, Lower Sibley Pond
is nearby, and why not camp at The Woodlot Campground while you're here at Glen Echo Lake. Charlton Applewood Campgrounds is a good local campground. At Glen Echo Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's with
overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Glen Echo Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Wachusett Mountain is a very popular ski area close by, and Comfort Inn & Suites Colonial is a tremendous spot to get some rest.
