Go to Gleason Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Swamps don’t sound that good but Guinea Meadow near Gleason Pond is rather good, and after a long day outdoors Boston/Natick Travelodge is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Baiting Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting; if you have time to spare, Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth taking a look at. | | Pond a reasonably wet place; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; July is when it's the driest.
What a site this is for outdoors folks. Playing golf is lots of fun at Framingham Country Club, and you can run the rapids of Assabet River. Everybody close by loves skiing at Blue Hills. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Gleason Pond has to offer, you can camp at Northport Campground.

Gleason Pond is near Fiddlers Green Dam which is a gorgeous place without doubt worth visiting, and you can stay the night at Pine Hollow Camping. This lake is so wonderful. From Gleason Pond you get a good vista of Bare Hill, and
Best Western Framingham is a pleasant place to get some rest. Charles River is a splendid whitewater spot near Gleason Pond; Farm Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
For the period of the summer months, highs typically
are in the 80's at Gleason Pond while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Gleason Pond fall into the 10's.
