    Go to Gleason Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Gleason Pond. You can run the rapids of Housatonic River near Gleason Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Elbow Trail. You're possibly interested in lakes, Lake Buel is one of those close by; you get a delightful view of Brush Hill from here. Gleason Pond is a splendid location to camp, Maple Glade Campground is a splendid location,  
   and the snow is glorious at Bousquet.
Lone Oak Camp Sites is a magnificent campground here, and Guilder Hollow is also a fine place to look at. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Gleason Pond get into the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows at Gleason Pond during the wintertime regularly fall into the 0's. Gleason Pond gets lots of water; the month of August is the
 
               wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
You simply should go for Gleason Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Konkapot Brook for all you adrenaline kick people, and Gleason Pond is right by the Indian Trail. Old Inn On the Green is a good place to get some rest; folks from Pittsfield love to come here.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Butternut, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Gleason Pond; Wild Cat Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Gleason Pond Dam is an exciting thing to check out; after a long day outdoors Turning Point Inn Bed & Breakfast is a good place to spend a night or two.
