A visit to Garnet Lake is always a good idea. If you came to camp Bissellville Campground is a fine site to do that, and there are plenty of folks from Pittsfield here at Garnet Lake. For the period of the summertime months here at Garnet Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Garnet Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.

| | There's so much to do here at Garnet Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Hill Campground is a pleasant location for that, and don't leave Garnet Lake without first going for a hike along the Busby Trail.

down from the sky makes Garnet Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Garnet Lake and you like
golf, you can go to Bass Ridge Country Club, and a great forest nearby is Peru State Forest. Just can't get enough of Garnet Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Otis Ridge is close to Garnet Lake, and the vista of French Hill
is gorgeous. So many exciting things to do at Garnet Lake, so little time.
This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Westfield River - West Branch, and
Becket Motel is a fine place to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Pittsfield Travelodge, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Garnet Lake; Thunderbolt Ski Trail is a brilliant local trail.
