You can take a little spree to Rising Paper Company Dam while you're here at Fountain Pond; why not camp at Camp Half Moon if you're here at Fountain Pond. Float down the rapids of Bash Bish Brook in a kayak, and you can distinguish Flag Rock from Fountain Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Greenock Country Club, and going for a hike along the Indian Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Fountain Pond, and a pretty lake like The Cove is a great spot to visit. Fountain Pond generally gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Near Fountain
Pond you hit upon Brookside Col which is a great location to stop by, and do take a hike on the Wild Cat Trail. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Fountain Pond. Paddling on Konkapot
Brook is so much fun; Bousquet is a good local ski area. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Fountain Pond. Housatonic River Reservoir is a good lake near Fountain Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay
Woodland Hills Campground is a tremendous spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine choice, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Elbow Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like Muddy Brook.
