Fountain Pond is a lake worth visiting. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Butternut, and if you need a location to stay Briarcliff Motor Lodge is a good choice. Maple Glade Campground is a nice local campground, and close by you locate the Indian Trail which is a good hiking trail. This place is great, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do close to Fountain Pond. There's some exciting
stuff to distinguish at Rising Paper Company Dam in the neighborhood of Fountain Pond, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Fountain
Pond, you could also check out striking Agawam Lake, and Flag Rock is a peak you can spot from Fountain Pond. There's so much to do here at Fountain Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Woodland Hills Campground is a tremendous
location for that, and why not head up to Bousquet and strap some skis to your feet. Fountain Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
