This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Foundry Pond. Take some time to visit Whitney Woods if you're here, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cohasset Tidal Rip. For the period of the summertime highs here at Foundry Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Foundry Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Black Rock Beach; Foundry Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Prospect Lake Park is a pleasant local campground. A day on the slopes of Bradford is just what you need, and don't miss out on a tour to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area if you're here. Be careful coming to Foundry Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again.
