Many people like to go to Foundry Pond. During the warm months highs here at Foundry Pond get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Foundry Pond fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Cohasset Tidal Rip, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by

| | Triphammer Pond. Glad Tidings Plain is right here at Foundry Pond. There's so much to do here at Foundry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Norwell Campsites is a pleasant spot for that. Take a side trip to Accord Brook, and dropping by Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. and if you need a place to stay Kimball S By The Sea-Cohasset Harbor Inn is a good choice. Skiing at Bradford is one of those things you just have to do, and Black Rock Beach is a gorgeous beach to visit. There's just no way somebody
can get bored here at Foundry Pond. Some pleasant nature is available in Whitney Woods, and if you came to camp Prospect Lake Park is a fine site to do that. Be careful coming to Foundry Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home
again. Martins Well is in close proximity and always delightful to go to, and dry warm beds await you at Clarion Hotel Nantasket Beach. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Hills while you're here, and
not far from Foundry Pond you'll find Straits Pond which is a striking lake. From Foundry Pond you get a splendid panorama of Atlantic Hill, and a day at scenic Crescent Beach close to Foundry Pond is a good thing to do. The yearly
rainfall here at Foundry Pond is about average; most of the rain falls throughout November while July is frequently the driest month. At Foundry Pond you always meet someone from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, and why not check out Triphammer Pond Dam while you're here.
