If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Foundry Pond. Foundry Pond is in close proximity to Triphammer Pond Dam which is a wonderful place positively worth going to; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Crescent Beach. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Foundry Pond. Take a look at close by Great Swamp, and hey, Gotta ski right? Bradford is a fine place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. | | Tidal Rip is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Foundry Pond; everyone close by loves skiing at Blue Hills. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Foundry Pond with overnight lows in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Foundry Pond are in the 20's. Accord Brook. This place, Foundry Pond, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Atlantic Hill is simple to spot from Foundry Pond; Prospect Lake Park is a good local campground. A spree to nearby Martins Well is very relaxing;
a wooded neighborhood close by is Whitney Woods. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a very nice site to visit in the neighborhood of Foundry Pond; nothing beats kicking back at Black Rock Beach. There are plenty
of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here at Foundry Pond, and after a long day outdoors Kimball S By The Sea-Cohasset Harbor Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. The yearly rain here at Foundry Pond is about average;
most of the rain falls through November; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Clarion Hotel Nantasket Beach is a perfect location to get some rest, and spots like Glad Tidings Plain are great to stop by.
