If you're looking for a beach in the vicinity of Forge Pond, we recommend State Park Beach, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PROVIDENCE-WOONSOCKET. This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Walkabout Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Bungay Brook Golf Club is close at hand. If       you come at the right time of year, Clear and Branch offers some tremendous whitewater; hiking is a popular thing to do around Forge Pond; Munyan Trail is a brilliant local trail. The high level of rain makes Forge Pond a quite wet place; through November this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. On a gorgeous day you acquire a view of Candlewood Hill from Forge Pond, and Walsh Pond is a splendid lake nearby. This lake is so                  wonderful. Circle CG Farm Campground is a great campground nearby, and at Forge Pond you always meet someone from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. Throughout the months of summer here at Forge Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 30's while Forge Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great local destination here at Forge Pond; why not a little side trip to Fox Brook. Forge Pond truly is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. If you need a spot to stay La Quinta Inn Milford is a tremendous choice, and a stunning lake like Duck Pond is a good place to have a look at. What a place this is for outdoors people.
