Forge Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Take a side journey to Beaver Brook; Charles River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Canoe River Campground, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Trowel Shop Pond is just a very short distance away. 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Forge Pond during the winter generally fall into the 10's. This lake is so
wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Canoe River Campground is a nice place to camp; the sight of lovely Hixon Hill is nice. Here at Forge Pond there are plenty of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, and Courtyard By Marriott Norwood is a pleasant place to get some rest.
