Forge Pond is a lake worth visiting. Dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton Norwood, and if you're here, you could also check out lovely Little Wigwam Pond. Courtyard By Marriott Norwood is a fine site to get some rest; why not a little side journey to Beaver Brook.

In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Charles River, and Forge Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Canoe River Campground is a perfect local campground. You get a great view of Hixon Hill from Forge Pond, and do pop by Ponkapoag Pond, it's a charming lake.

regularly in the 60's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Forge Pond temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a nice close by
course is Brookmeadow Country Club, and hey, Gotta ski right? Blue Hills is a splendid location to do that. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do close to Forge Pond. The vistas at Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation
Area will blow your mind, and why not check out Forge Pond Dam while you're here.
A good deal of rainfall falls at Forge Pond; throughout November this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is June.
